FAQ’s and Policy

Q. Does Conte Bosch refund a deposit for a scheduled shoot?

A. We will refund a deposit only if the shoot was canceled ten days prior to
the date of the shoot. If a shoot is canceled less than ten days then the
deposit to hold the date will not be refunded.

Q. Does Conte Bosch price match?

A. We do not price match because every photographer may have something
different that they specialize in. Some photographers may have a better eye than
the other. While some may have better post edit capabilities. However, business
is business and we are willing to work with you around your budget and
photographic needs.

Q. Will Conte Bosch supply me with prints?

A. Yes. We specialize in digital media and concentrate on the file quality.
Most photographers usually sell only prints, but Conte Bosch sells the discs at
full resolution. This is like having the negatives. However, if you need prints
we are happy to mediate the processing for you. This service does cost a little
more but it might save you the time and hassle of going to the lab.

Q. How much advance notice do we need to give to schedule an
appointment?

A. Photographic events happen on the weekends 90% of the time so we usually
shoot during the weekend and edit during the week. Most weekend shoots require a
minimum of three days notice but if the book is open we should be able to fit
you in. Shoots during the week require a five day notice for scheduling.

Q. I want to model for my portfolio. Can I bring a friend with me?

A. Yes. We actually prefer that you bring a friend during your shoot. It
helps with the ice break factor and makes the shoot a little more fun especially
if you model together.

Q. How long does it take to get an edited disc back?

A. The average turn around time for an edited disc is about one week. A
wedding disc will take longer because of the picture count.

Q. Will Conte Bosch post pictures from my wedding so that members of the
wedding party can view them and purchase additional copies.

A. Yes. We can create a gallery to display up to 50 images from your wedding
that members can view and purchase copies of. The images displayed are either
chosen at random or by request. We can not display all of the images taken
because of the high picture count. An average wedding usually generates about
1700 images. Some are “keepers” while others are of Uncle Pete trying to dance
and nobody wants to look at that.

Q. I need a make up artist. Can Conte Bosch supply a professional make up
artist for my shoot?

A. Yes. Conte Bosch Studios knows a number of different make up artists that
would love to help out during a shoot. The fee for make up is usually $35 per
head. Advanced make up shoots with full body air brush are $100 plus the time
for the shoot.

Q. Does Conte Bosch Studios shoot glamour?

A. Yes. Conte Bosch will shoot artistic glamour or figure studies. However,
Conte Bosch will only shoot models over 21. A model release form must be
reviewed and signed prior to the shoot. A make up artist will be present and you
are required to bring a friend to help with the shoot. Conte Bosch will not
shoot any material that is considered unprofessional or distasteful. We believe
that the human form is a work of art and our style of photography should speak
for itself.

Q. I have read the model release form and I want to add something to it.
Can I make changes to the release form?

A. Yes. It is your responsibility to agree to all the terms on the model
release form. You are welcome to make any changes before the shoot. You are not
allowed to make any changes to the model release form after the shoot. So read
carefully and ask as many questions as you like.

Q. I want to do a shoot on location. Will Conte Bosch travel to photograph
on location?

A. Yes! Conte Bosch is Digital Freelance Photographer. Location shoots are
the most fun. However, Conte Bosch will not shoot at the beach. Most of the
equipment used during a shoot is very environmentally sensitive. Sand pretty
much gets everywhere. So if your looking to have the waves crash over you as you
make pouting lips you have the wrong photographer.

Q. Will Conte Bosch give me a free test shoot?

A. We will consider a free test shoot depending on our schedule and if Conte
Bosch can keep the copy write to the images taken during the shoot. Most first
time shoots are tuff because of stage fright or the new people factor. Sometimes
it’s better just to get the first one done and out of the way so that the real
work can happen at a later date. Wedding shoots are always welcome to a
pre-wedding shoot. This gives the couple an idea how the photographer works and
what to expect during the big day.

Q. What is the difference between a non-disclosed shoot and a regular
shoot?

A. A non-disclosed shoot is where Conte Bosch does not retain the copy write.
Pictures taken during a non-disclosed shoot are never published by Conte Bosch
and the full rights of ownership belong to the client. A regular shoot gives
Conte Bosch the right to publish, display, and sell an image.

Q. Is Conte Bosch looking to hire?

A. No. Conte Bosch is made up of a group of select talent that has been
working together as a team for years. Although the production for an event may
be done under the business name Conte Bosch Studios, most of the production crew
are paid as sub-contractors under their own licenses.

Q. Is Conte Bosch looking for models or talent for product shoots and
advertising?

A. Yes. There are times when we need to hire models to enhance a product
shoot or fill the roll required for an advertisement. All types of models and
talent are welcome to submit their information to be kept on file.

Q. I have a question that is not listed here. Where should I go to find
the answer?

A. Please contact Conte Bosch about anything photographic related at contebosch@yahoo.com.
